Key Information
ITCU credit cards will be converted on Thursday, November 3, 2022, to a new processing platform providing more benefits to members. As a result, all credit cards, business and consumer, will need to be replaced as they will no longer function after Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
All cardholders will receive a new card prior to the November 3 conversion date. Letters are also being mailed to cardholders ahead of the conversion.
As a result of these important communications, please make sure your phone number, home address and email address are correct. If you have recently changed or will be changing any of this information before November 3, please be sure to contact ITCU, or by calling (800) 337-3328 so there will be no delay in getting your new card(s) to you and ensure we can communicate any additional updates to you.
What to Do Before the Conversion
Members will want to download/save any historical credit card e-statements from the eZCard® website before Friday, October 28, 2022. A new electronic customer service website will replace eZCard to manage card activity.
Compiling a list of any automated payments or merchants that are tied to your current card before receiving your new card(s) will help make the change to your new card easier, too. Scheduled bills, online vendors, streaming services and other transactions tied to your card can be easily overlooked. Planning ahead can help minimize payment processing issues later.
What Happens After the Conversion
Once activated, your card will be ready to use as you always have but you’ll also have a new feature -tap-and-pay- to use for in-person transactions, where accepted.
In addition, we are pleased to provide new card management controls via the “My Cards1” link found in the Mobile Banking app. These controls allow you to track and control card spending, as well as the uChoose Rewards® program that allows you to earn points and redeem them for merchandise, gift cards and even cash! Even better, existing points that were previously earned and unused on old rewards cards will transfer to uChoose Rewards2!
What Else Should Members Know
For additional information, please consult our online FAQ. This FAQ will be updated as we get closer to the conversion and will be updated post-conversion with any important news.
We hope you enjoy these new card options, and we thank you for your patience throughout this process!
(1Card Valet may also be found in the Apple® and Google™ app stores; 2uChoose Rewards is only available for rewards credit cards.)

It seems stories about online attacks and data breaches are in the news every week, with the crimes and methods both constantly evolving. A recent study in 2021 found the most prevalent attacks were remote takeovers, information stealers, ransomware and schemes targeting banks*.
These attacks show no signs of slowing, either, which makes it more important than ever to stay cyber aware. As a result, every October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), along with the National Cybersecurity Alliance (NCA), dedicate those 31 days to promoting online safety. This year’s theme is “See Yourself In Cyber,” encouraging all of us to do our part to be conscientiously cyber safe whether checking email, using social media or updating our software.
While ITCU will do its part to safeguard member information, we encourage everyone to always be cyber alert. Here are some of the measures we have implemented to do just that:
While we observe Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October, staying cyber safe is a yearlong activity for all of us.
Remember: ITCU will never ask for your passwords nor passcodes via an email or call reaching out to you. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us at (800) 337-3328, or online. Do not use a number, email or text provided by someone who calls you claiming to be someone at ITCU.

We all have our own holiday
traditions that we prepare
for at this time of the year.
Some of us have probably
been preparing for these moments as
soon as we flipped the calendar page
to September. Others will probably wait
until the last possible moment to get
into the spirit. For some members,
October 31 is the day they have been
waiting for all year: Holiday Club funds
will be available!
As a quick recap, a Holiday Club savings account is a special account where members can make regular deposits beginning on November 1. The cumulative balance is then transferred over to the members’ savings accounts on October 31, providing some extra spending money for the holiday season.
If you have not set up a Holiday Club account before, you’re in luck: Holiday Club accounts can be opened for the 2023 holiday season beginning Tuesday, November 1. You can get started by visiting our Holiday Club webpage.
(Of course, the Holiday Club is
not the only timely offer we have
before the year is out. Keep your eyes
on your inbox and the ITCU.org
website for news about our
annual Holiday Loan soon!)
ITCU is on a mission to donate one million dollars to local food banks. Learn how every ITCU loan you make and every card purchase you do will help our food banks serve our communities at this webpage.
We’ve already made one donation this year and hoping to make another before the holidays. Stay tuned!
