At InTouch Credit Union, community involvement is more than a commitment. It's part of our culture. That's why several of our Nevada team members recently participated in Three Square Food Bank's "Morning of Impact" volunteer event in recognition of Hunger Action Month.
Held each September, Hunger Action Month raises awareness about food insecurity and encourages individuals, businesses, and organizations to take action in support of hunger relief efforts. The Morning of Impact event brought together volunteers from across Southern Nevada for a day of service, education, and community connection focused on helping neighbors in need.
Our team members joined fellow volunteers at Three Square Food Bank to support the organization's mission of providing wholesome food to individuals and families facing food insecurity throughout the region. The experience offered an opportunity to give back while learning more about the challenges many local households face and the important role community partnerships play in addressing hunger.
Volunteer events like this align closely with InTouch Credit Union's ongoing commitment to making a positive difference in the communities we serve. Through our You and Us, Fighting Hunger Together initiative, ITCU is committed to contributing $1 million to help fight hunger. Whether through volunteerism, charitable giving, or everyday banking activity, we believe that meaningful change happens when communities come together around a common purpose.
We are grateful to Three Square Food Bank for the incredible work they do every day and proud of our Nevada team members for dedicating their time and energy to support such an important cause.
